i guess ur fine. My collegue here won similar case in NJ. I am sure they'll pay u if u put little pressure on them. I would think twice before i report him to DOL & DHS only the reason being it might affect all other employees that are currently working for your previous company. If they don't pay u, i guess u have no choice to go for a fomal complaint.

It is great to see human nature at work. Once united and making phone calls for the 3 lofgren Bills...the same folks are mulling it out over EB2, EB3 and how most of the folks dont even deserve to be either....Interesting fodder for Anti Immi folks.....
W/o demand there is no supply or acceptance of Foriegn nationals in an alien land. Obviously there are some that abuse teh system...
But that is not the intention of IV to solve for rooting the abusers out. Its the USCIS's job to do that. Like they abolished the Subs labor process.....they may as well make EB1, 2 and 3 more restrictive they actually did make EB2 more restrictive when PERM was launched...
So lets all concentrate on what our role in this whole mess is..that is to support IV wholeheartedly...Please focus on the big picture and enjoy life!!!!!!!!!

Can't we work together civilly for this? The illegal aliens speak in one voice and are more easily heard. While immigrants who are supposed to be "highly educated" like us have to fight within ourselves over every issue.

I had a LUD on 7/28 and nothing after that... My I140 approved in Texas in April2006. I think we should get the receipt number here pretty soon...

So if IV is their partner, is our agenda part of their list? Not sure. If not, could we ensure that it is ? And, is it OK to send fax on their behalf as well? I guess it will be, IF our items are present..

I think we have a provable point as per the USCIS CSR msg "We approve all cases based on the order they are received". So basically it says Approval based on ND. Approving Oct'07 NDs and not approving (not even touching) Jul-Sep NDs makes a valid point.
I am not sure how to put our case based on PD because to me PD serves the purpose of passport to get in and then line is formed by ND. But sure, if anyone could put some thoughts and define the situation, I think its well worth to try something different now.
yeah.. even ND is not being followed... and why give a PD when they have to follow ND anyways ? So wait for 5 years in queue and then due to USCIS lottery system my application gets assigned a later ND... i have to suffer ??? WOW ... that's nice.... that's what's called INJUSTICE...

My I-140 applied on july 13 2007 at NSC Transferred to TSC on 07/23/2007.
I-485/EAD/AP applied for me and my wife on 08/07/2007 at NSC per USCIS current filing instructions based on area where we live.
LUD 08/12/2007 on I-140.

If you think , by asking foreign born workers to go back you can get more access to the so called "wealth" you are talking about , its time you enroll for an Economics 101 . It is your proud America that has long been shouting from the rooftops about the need to have more open borders, facilitate global transfer of knowledge and commodities . Anyway , I dont think I have to even argue with you as you need lots of orientation before I get into a meaningful debate with you . Is there any way we can work for our US employer from India on Indian salary? I am thinking a consulting company with presence in US and India (Manpower??) can set this up for us. So we will just be living in India and working remotely for the employer as a consultant. We will be paying indian taxes as the consulting company will be indian. Any thoughts?

I got my EAD today...Even i received my EAD also...Mine is sent to NSC on july 2nd...I received EAD's from Texas Center...I think my application was transferred to Texas...I have approved I-140 from Texas...Are receipt numbers for EAD, 485, AP are in serial? I haven't received receipts yet...I filled G-28...my attorney did not receive my receipts...I don't know what is going on...

When some one decides to apply AC21 by having an offer from another employer, it is not clear if one is required to inform USCIS about it. Some say one should, others say, not required. Has anyone seen any USCIS position on it? If not, perhaps we should make this as a question for next Ombudsman's conference call.
