Guys do not feed the freeloaders by telling anything you are reading in the donor forum. Let these people help themselves by signing up for recurring contributions if they want helpful nformation about their EB2 PD movemement. We are still not meeting of our advocacy day amount. It is all because most people want free lunches. This needs to stop. The 200 people going to DC tomorrow are going to speak for you and me for yours and mine greencard. Knowledge of Infopath and Sharepoint is a HUGE PLUS!!! As well as any Accounting experience.
Must have a valid American Passport or American Green card!
( unfortunately on this position we cannot work with H1B or Third parties, or any other visa-status )

Right, it will not be good for anyone- nonimmigrants, employers or american economy. They are trying to take advantage of the current state of the economy to promote their anti-immigrant protectionist agenda. This is going to make anti-immigrant groups happy. Btw, I think these anti immigrant groups are a very small minority compared to people who support legal immigration but these are the most noisey ones.
so, yes -it is not going to be helpful for anybody. Only results in large scale outsourcing and/or companies would not be able to place right candidates in the right roles which is going to hurt America in the long run.

Tell them you are a US worker as per the definitions laid out by the dept of Labor. Mntion that while you do have a H1B visa, which makes you a temporary worker not subject to the citizenship status discrimination prevention provisions, you are currently adjusting your status to a permanent resident and are availing yourself of the provision of I-765, thereby being a legal US worker as defined by the DOL and thereby would avail of the protection provded to you under the anti-discrimination provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S.C. � 1324b.

My status was changed from Initial Review to PDA.The status changed on Aug 7th. There is no CPO or Decision status in between.
I see the following message

Is any one in the same state. How long does it take for the actual card to come.
I need to renew my DL by end of this month. Can I renew it using my 485 Approval notice copy?

For me, I have not seen any status change to my 140. After a series of LUDs to both 485 and 140 at last today I see my 485 status has changed. It says RFE sent. Good that I have not received any NOID or Denial. This is the best case scenario that I was hoping for. I have yet to receive the RFE to see the actual cause. But hoping this is due to 140 withdrawal. I thank the IO who is working on my case as he/she is quite knowledgeable and issued a RFE not NOID or denial.

I received a response from the ombudsman. I am not sure if our issue is properly understood by his office. When we write about AC21 issues, the response talks about I-140 delays. Gurus, please help me understand the contents of the response below:

I have one PERM EB2 labor certified and I-140 PP in under process. Received an RFE for I-140 on June 1st and my company's paralegal analyst responded back on June 6th. Since then there is no news on my I-140. I have another RIR EB3 labor stuck in DBEC based on the case analyst email it should be cleared by June 30th but there is no assurnace on that. Now I am in a fix whether I should file my I-485 on the PERM EB2 where I-140 is stuck with an RFE or should wait for RIR EB3 to get approved.
Also is it possible to file I-485 on my PERM EB2 case now and later use EB3 RIR PD in EB2 case when I get my EB3 labor and I-140 approved?
Please post your experiences and advise. This is really important for me to find an answer b4 I take any step forward.

I concluded the same ( Though never posted that analysis :)) But It looks like we are missing a very critical point - we are assuming that " these pending numbers are the total 485 workload USCIS has" but I referred a different chart on USCIS board and it looks like there is a separte hoard of "preadjudicated" applications already sitting in a queue apart from these numbers. Please check on following link.

I saw this link Murthy's email too. The total pre-adjudicated cases in the chart is matching with the total in the document. Well now there are more un-answered questions:

2. Is there any way to know whether individual case is pre-adjudicated or not ?
USCIS has fooled us again. No good statistical analysis can be done on incomplete/inaccurate data. I am going from hopeful to hopeless again. I am EB2-I Feb 2006.
