Did you change your mailing address after you submitted your I-485?
Some time they correspond to your old mailing address even though you updated the address with USCIS.
Did you check with your Attorney? Is the correspondence address given is your mailing address or Lawyers? Some times Lawyers give their address for correspondence to USCIS.
These factors count where the approved mail goes to. I am sure you might have checked these before. If you over-looked these, then these may be the areas that you have to check on.

I am in the same boat. I got Notice welcoming new PR email on 8/5 and nothing after that.

1, Let choose an attorney who understands our pain wants to fight for our cause. if its Rajiv Khanna so be it.
2, Whatever the inital attorney consultion let split the consultation fee between five of us.
3, Once we have a stream lined class action in place will gather more people.

Folks who opened an SR and had NSC-CSC-NSC transfers, what is the format of the ref # the Cust Service Rep gave you??
I got a # of the format T1NXXXXXXXXXXXCSC format.
I also got this format. but response, came from NSC after 30 days of filing SR.

GCby3000 u wud still apply under Eb1 and Eb2 depending on the job requirement and ur personal skills. It is just that u will be Exempt from the Cap i.e. the yearly quota for GCs, IF you have an advanced degree in the US.
Now you can be an Eb2 even without a masters in the US, if you have outstanding management ability and ur job demands that kind of management skill level. In that case the yearly quota cap would apply to u, but if u have an advanced degree in the US the cap wud not apply to u.
What degrees are considered as advanced degrees in the SKIL bill maybe some on here can clarify. Is it the same definition as the STEM or is it different?

This is what i understand and i might be wrong, and this is specifically from my perspective and i am not representing IV.
For a legal immigrant who has been here for the last 9 years, following the law from day 1, i don't see any hope except IV. I understand this is a political issue, and everything happens on the back-end. There is no time table or time line which can be promised by anyone, because this is all politics. Even anti-immigrants don't do anything everyday. They lobby in the background and try to stop any kind of relief, if any being given to us. They still collect a lot of money. They are also only active when there is something on the table and same goes with IV. Everything goes in the background and when there is something positive they come out and request the community to work on an action item, which in the ends gets a very poor response and undermines all their hard work. IV has an agenda and sticks with it. They have lobbying firms who work on the lines of that agenda. I don't think anybody can promise a time line or timetable regarding anything. They are working on an agenda and trying to get relief for all of us. They can't come out openly every day and say we are working on this and that.
I believe in trying and by supporting IV, i am doing that. If no body is going to fight for us (Legal Immigrants), then we can't expect any relief or i will say not even dream of anything good for us. No one is going to address our plight till the time we fight for it. Ask your friends what have they done till today? If they think giving $1000, can buy themselves a Green Card(so called independence) then i am ready to give them $1500 and will request them to do it for me also and i am sure i can find many fellow IV'ans who can also give them $1500. Its very easy to question someones hard work, but when they will be asked to do something, you wont find them anywhere. Every time they will have some reasons not to contribute or do anything. If they join IV, they are not doing anything good, till the time they don't participate in any activities or action items. If they think sitting and waiting for Visa Bulletins and Processing Dates is the best way to go, then there is no way anyone can help them.
Nobody came to convince me, that IV will get me out of this pain. I understand the problem, which is right in front of everyone and i only see IV as the one and only one organization working to get us some relief. I have met the Core group and i know how dedicated and honest they are. During the rally they were in DC for weeks getting everything worked on, only so that our problem can be highlighted and heard. IV Core spends a lot of time in Washington DC lobbying for our cause. They spend money out of their own pockets. They have families and they end up spending time away from them. Why???? Because they want relief and get our problem sorted. I really salute and appreciate their efforts and the hard work they have put in to come so far.
But we as legal immigrants always end up questioning someones efforts? These questions need to answered by us. If your friends think there life is good and things will fall in place, its fine and they can stay away and go on with their lives as it is going on. But tell them not to criticize and question anybody's hard work and honesty.
At least they can do us a favor, by not questioning what IV does? Rest regarding the funds, IV is a non-profit organization, and the tax returns are available online and can be viewed by anyone.
Rest i hope they wake up and realize that by helping IV they are helping themselves and their families.

I am proud to be associated with IV. At least in the end i will be happy to say that i tried for my independence.

Per my lawyer,
1. USCIS does not mandate that you must inform when you invoke AC21. You can inform them if and when you get RFE.
2. I strongly believe that we should not accept job offers that is not related to the job you originally applied for. My lawyer says it is usually vague and if USCIS determines other wise I will be in trouble. And for the same reason I am hesitant to accept very good employee offer from my current client.
3. Self employment is ok as long as the requirements are met and that is what is I am doing now.

I have sent emails as per the clear (thanks) instructions. I have a small suggestion (correction). Instead of ending with "Thanks, .... Your Name", I suggest using "Thank You, ..... Your Name". IMHO, "Thanks" is used among friends and family and "Thank You" would be used for being more formal.
I know it is a minor detail, but I felt liking speaking what I felt.

I am seeing lot of heat and frustration out here and it is understandable to whole extent. First of all, I am a DC/MD/VA state chapter member and working towards achieving goals of getting GC in one year. Sounds funny right!!!! But it is true. We are working at grass roots with the National Leadership of IV to get things going at individual constituency level. I just posted this on another thread on IV. You might be knowing that DC Metro area should be having thousands of professionals making good money and stuck in this mess!!! Thousands!!! Do you know how many active members we have for this chapter!!! around 160!!!! Do you know how many turn up for weekly chapter meeting!!! 15!!!! But we are fortunate two have these 15 people who are putting their time and effort to talk to lawmakers.... These people also donate money. By the way these people are mix of EB 2 and EB 3. Do not try to create this division of EB2 and EB3. Some of the people running this IV have their green card but they are still putting in their time for you guys to lobby....It just takes 25$ each month to become donor but people don't want to do that. Don't think that IV will show you proof of concept for you to start donating. If you cannot volunteer, just keep quiet and wait for next VB. I am a 2 July 2007 filer. Many SR's and calls later no FP.But I applied for EAD and AP renewal last week.I got the FP notice in mail today.
So I think that the renewal may trigger a FP notice.
