I do not understand why people spend their energy in coming up with some lame ideas. Just because you suffer does not mean that your fellows have to suffer, what is the point of being a sane individual with that kind of thought process.
There are people who come here on all kinds of visas F1, H1, L1 and like this country and stay back and need a green card for convenience. Students who came here want priority over people who came on H1B. It makes sense from their point of view.
Similarly people on H1B who got stuck in several stages and had to change the company have their own point of view.
How bout having a lame rule saying that GC for people with I.Q of 140 and above?

Filed two EAD renewals to TSC: one on 07/06/08, another on 07/14/08.
Both included only the documents required by the filing instruction, nothing besides.
The first one was accepted, ND 8 Jul, the second returned with a request for a copy of I-485.
Added and re-sent again- no receipt yet.

I posted to topic "My concern- Skill in 2009"...then came proud american..derailed us off track and then we forgot our route....now back to the route....what action are we talking to intorduce this Eb interm relief Bill in senate in Jan..I think we need an input from Core members about how to proceed here..

Don't like EB-3 dates...but looking at EB-2 dates, does this mean that from now on we will see only forward movement in EB-2 I/C dates?
If the first month of the new year didn't retrogress, would every month see a movement of week or two? Or keeping in great USCIS tradition, this is just another 'fluke'? ;)
Thus far approvals have been at a steady pace--people are reporting GC directly in mail box without any formal cpo/approval/welcome mails too. Hopefully spill-over visas have been alloted to as mant pre-adjudicated petetions and they will clear out all approvable cases in 04 and EB2 dates will only forward. By Q3/Q4, it may cross-over well in.to 06

we are looking at specific situations where the legal immigrant community was affected... and right now its the non sequential processing of the applications for EB-2...

I think the major bone of contention among the legislators is what to do about the illegal immigrants currently in the country. Amnesty OR no amnsesty is the major debate. Other than that both are in a common frame of mind (in some way) one way or the other regarding - border enforcement, legal immigration, retrogression relief. Now, it looks like there is a common agreement that the skillful legal immigration issue has to be separated from the illgegal immigration related Amnesty OR no Amnesty debate. Hopefully we should see something positive in the next few months. This article seems to indicate in that direction since they have agreed upon one more item, border enforcement -
