People who have written letters themselves, post the Letters here. I am having 7-10 ppl in my office write the letters. It will be good if u guys can post the letter contents. I can simply have them write and sign with different letters. People are lazy dont wanna think and write.

Vonage does work with a home security system, but they do no recommend using it for that purpose because then your security system is dependent on the internet to make the call out during an emergency.

EB3 will not any visa from recapture bcoz it will go to EB2 first. EB2 line is not going to clear in next 10 years bcoz nowadays everybody applies in EB2 and as they move VB forward for EB2, more and more people apply for AOS and it never ends.
So EB3 won't be benefited by recapture unless there is a clause specifically for EB3 allotment out of that recapture
We need some numbers to back this up. I think you are saying EB2 will not become current even with the recaptured number. There is another thread for requesting numbers from USCIS about pending applications per category, per country. So, participate in that campaign as well.
We need the numbers. I would have guessed roughly 50% of pending 500K applications are from India, 50% of that is EB2, so recapture of 200K visas should help.

It is not true. The orignal text in IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT says "Visas shall be made available, in a number not to exceed 28.6 percent of such worldwide level, plus any visas not required for the classes specified in paragraph (1), to qualified immigrants who are members of the professions holding advanced degrees or their equivalent or who because of their exceptional ability in the sciences, arts, or business, will substantially benefit prospectively the national economy, cultural or educational interests, or welfare of the United States, an d whose services in the sciences, arts, professions, or business are sought by an employer in the United States.
Beyond 28.6 percent, there is no words/requirements from the law that EB1 should spillover to EB2 first, then EB2 can spillover to EB3. It is just saying that EB1 can spillover to EB2, EB1&EB2 can spillover to EB3.

But, can somebody answer my question above..........why is the same house (not even a brick changed) being appraised at around 100k lower than it was done 2 years back, by the same bank??
For the same reason S&P500 shares which used to be something like $130-140 couple of months back are now selling for $85. Now should I go blaming NYSE/NASDAQ for that and ask my money back?
Buying house is not much different than buying stocks - both of them are investments at the most fundamental level and are hence susceptible to ups and downs. If you don't have stomach for it just don't do it.
Now, if you say you don't treat your home as investment but as a place to live then you should not be bothered if your house value is down temporarily in the short term. You can still live in it.
The very first post in the thread says the poster hoped to sell it off in two years and pocket a quick profit. Nothing wrong with that but it's called speculation and every speculation carries a certain risk with it. Own up to that risk! There is no investment with only upside. If there is one thing I learned wrt immigration, it is do things ASAP. Never postpone anything at all. As much as possible get first in the queue.
A general piece of advice: Never reject an option you don't have. [this is more to do with folks who say, "I am only in year 1 in h1..I don't know if I need gc..let me see after 2-3 years.." - guess what einstein, it is easy to give up your gc after you get it, then to get it when you desperately need it.]

Congrats ski_dude12. My personal opinion is that this may have delayed your greencard since July. Sometimes people get too anxious once their date is current and want to try everything that is possible to get approval. There is so much information and misinformation on forums.
i would think that you dont need to raise any SR or other action for at least 3-4 weeks from the month your PD is current.
i didnt do anything and the emails came to me by 7th of Sept
maybe in some cases it helps, in some cases i heard- there have been delays

I got the following response for Ombudsman for AC21 mail sent to them a week ago. They need Evidance of I 485 denials to discuss with USCIS. The following is the mail I got. People who have been affected already. Please share this with Ombudsman..Let's keep the momentum going..

Flying through Asian Countires is not an option for people residing in East Coast. I am travelling to India in the next week Via Amsterdam. I am told by the consulate that we do not need Transit Visas. My H1B Visa is expired and I am travelling on AP. Did any one hear differently?

I sure hope that it is not a denial. In any case, I am preparing for the worst and trying to save some money to pay the lawyers for an MTR...
