If u plan in 3 months prior and if u dont travel during the peak times you should get a good deal from anyone. Peak time is when school closes in US and Dec 10 to Jan 20.
And get quotes from one or 2 agents and check the airline website. This should give u a good starting point

For 485, EAD and AP , Do we need get three quarter old fashion photo . I mean facing diagonal or facing straight to camera? I believe old one was looking diagonal to camera.

Today, Robert Rector, the immigration guru at the conservative Heritage Foundation testified before the House Judicary Immigration Subcommittee.
It should be mentioned that Rector is the ideological guru of immigration restirictionists like Loo Dobbs, NumbersUSA, FAIR, CIS, Jeff Sessions and Tom Tancredo (I bet we'll remember these names in the years to come...).

In the future, U.S. immigration policy should encourage high-skill immigration and strictly limit low-skill immigration.

This is like a stock broker advising a client to buy two stocks, one which will make money and another that will lose money. Hi, I am from India and applied for GC under EB2.my priority date is 01-21-2-2007.I filed concurrently I-140 and I-485 in july 2007. got my EAD and using it.EAD is valid for one more year.I-485 is still pending. my wife have filed a case against me in India.The indian court issued non bailable arrest warrent against me. I am not going to India to attend the court proceedings.Now the proceedings and non bailable arrest warrent against me is pending in indian court since 2 years. my indian passport has impounded by ministry of external affairs, India. The interpol in india has sent extradition papers to Interpol, washington D.C. there is no red corner notice issued against me. my questions are:
1. if My wife informs USCIS that the court proceedings and non bailable warrents are pending against me in Indian court, and my passport was also impounded by gove of india, does the USCIS reject my green card?
2) as my record is with interpol, washington D.c , when FBI name checks happens, does FBI find my name in interpol data base and inform USCIS about it?
3) As I applied green card based on my Indian passport, when my passport is under inpounded status , does USCIS consider my passport status to issue gC?.
Kindly advise me.

It is the law that you file AR-11 within (I think) 10 days after moving to a new address. If you do not do say, technically they can deport you. So send the AR-11 form with proof of sending. You can also submit AR-11 form online.
You should also change the address on the USCIS site. This operation is different from AR-11 submission.

Hello,
My wife is applying for a good job at the European Union, and I do not see why can't she get accepted. We've been stuck in this mess for a while and I am getting tired of irrespectful treatment when entering the country, even when you are here legally, limited career, etc,etc
We can legally work in Europe, but how is the market in Belgium for an electrical engineer (firmware, hardware, project manager exp)?
Anybody have any experience or know something about it? salaries, cost of live, etc

time is running out...looks like they will keep on playing this game till the elections...unless the media kicks in and starts painting the negative picture about the plight of employment based immigration. currently its only is dominant in newspapers etc. the visual media is still dominated by likes of Dobbs.
one thing what we can do is start writing emails to the ombudsman cisombudsman@dhs.gov
i think everybody shall start telling their stories and give the ombudsman a bulleted list about what needs to happen to fix the broken system...just a thought...it may have a chance of better visibility.
i may be too naive but nevertheless why miss the opportunity to spread the word around...

My H1b and my wifes H4 extensions were filed on 2/10 and approved on 4/1.

Right.. Here they go again . I heard "ENFORCEMENT ONLY" Bills from the past 2 years now . The White House has a "NO MATCH" rule which was exactly like the SAVE :D Act ( How do they come up with these names ) ? The NO MATCH rule was blocked 2 times in a row by US Judges . I wonder why do they waste time drafting these non starters. Waste of paper and Printer ink is at the most that these Bills go to .. "SAVE" the trees at least .
They will play this game of presenting and failing bill till 2009. We have seen hundreds of them failing and will see couple more. They are not wasting time.. They are creating vote banks for next election... If any new change is going to happen, will happen after elections.
